You can have a new house built from about 100.000 euros excluding the land. This house is for sale with an estate agent and they have the cosing of a new roof. What do you think the cost is?

Doesn't the price also depend on whether new roof timbers are needed, not just slates and labour ?
So 55 000€

No idea about the devis but am interested in knowing. A very nicely composed photo, is it one that you took? Doesn't look like a typical agents photo.
My estimate for the cost formulated in my Tardis is €70000 or €100 for the shed with €5 back on the scrap metal.

45000€ but this assumes full access scaffolding without protective covering other than tarpaulins while the work proceeds.

Its not a big roof the price is 70.000 for a new roof which is whacky. The roof covering is flat stone so would take some time to put back in place. I always wanted to reroof one of these but that feeling has passed now. You would need deep pockets to have that renovated but since covid prices have gone up in almost all sectors building wise as has everything else.

That’s a big price. I have no idea about the possible costs except that I have seen several reroofing projects near us and would assume that they were cost effective. In your example I doubt it would be worth doing unless you were the builder doing it for yourself. I was very interested as we may need to be able to present a better looking roof to potential buyers in a few years time.
