Leroy Merlin normally do very cheap (often free) and very fast delivery for all their stock items and the range they have for on line sales is 10 times bigger, they are quietly becoming a sort of Amazon Marketplace for DIY products.
I rarely drive to the store and always order on line now, the exception is when I have to go to the ophtalmo in the same town, I hate the store now, every till has been changed to an self service till and the accueil is usually like the Marie Celeste, plenty of staff in the click and collect despatch point though.
I think their strategic plan is to just be a showroom where starry eyed couples can wander around hand in hand picking out finishes etc and then go home and order on line for home delivery, there is very little stock on the shelves compared to the past.
On the positive side, if I need an obscure pro tool or fixing, some examples being a Mondelin calle plaque or some specific douilles femelles chimique or threaded rivets, an odd sized black resin shower tray etc I find the product & manufacturer on line then search for the best price and it nearly always is Leroy Merlin and also with fast free delivery, these are never products that they have in store.
Bricodepot is the same as its always been.

Been down that route with Leroy when we ordered a WC for delivery, didn't arrive on said day, and we were leaving 2 or 3 days later, WC was never to be seen again and we had to go and pick one up the day before we were leaving.......didn't want to have to do that this week again.........

I understand, deliveries are so unreliable here that you cant use the service when you are only on a short trip.
That said Leroy or their marketplace suppliers have been quite good, .................. so far!
