Is it legal for me to wire in a UK 3 pin outdoor double socket in the house in France?
I would like a backup for the car should the village charging point be US, and I would like to use the supplied 13A UK charger that came with the car, one is not supposed to use conversion adapters on long usage high current devices such as an EV charger, and I don't really want to buy another charger for the car with a Shuko on the end.

You will need to wait until one of the electrical experts come on, I know people who use English sockets here an on off switch would be quite handy sometimes.

No , it is not legal to put anything that is not within EU regulations in a house in the EU, as many " do it selfers"have found when trying to sell their houses But , I have a feeling that you knew that already otherwise you would not have asked?

Would you mind quoting the law article reference please.
Were the DIY'ers fined or punished?
If what you say is true then Johnny had better hope for Frexit!

To JohnnyD; fitting your second example is perfectly legal also, but defeats the object as to buying another charging cable. Not at all, I can buy or make a conversion lead, plenty about.........

I was replying to the question pcpa.
I have seen complete houses wired with UK plugs , that could only be sold to Brits afterwards The obvious solution is what Le Dolly posted , but I would think that one UK outside plug , would go unseen unless it caused a fire of course.

By conversion adaptor i mean something like uk.rs-online.com/web/p/travel-adapters/6683698 which are often rated well below 13A as you can see from the link, even if 13A, they are not intended for long term use at that current draw, by conversion lead, I mean a professionally made lead which is intended for long term high current usage.........

It was also stated "and I don't really want to buy another charger for the car with a Shuko on the end." JohnnyD by the way it is not a Shuko that you require, but a French Type E or F.

Ive heard of Brits putting all English sockets in their houses too. I believe but I could wrong that if you came to sell the house it would fail the diagnostics.

I recently stayed in a hotel in Ile De France that had EU, UK and USB sockets, all in the same panel.
