Most forums die a slow death, so few brits coming to live in France these days compared to the olden days. Even FB has gone quiet. FB gone quiet? I would have thought that would be impossible to know, wouldn't it? Yes and no. On FB several of the property for sale sites have shut other sites we advertise on are very quiet. A year ago when we used to advertise a property for sale around the 15/20.000 euro bracket we would get hundreds of messages asking for more details now you would be lucky to get 20 or thirty messages. The local FB sites with things for sale have a lot less ads than they had three years ago. Look at how quiet Complete France has gone or even here. TNFF forum used to have 30 / 40 active topics a day and around 400 posts and that was nothing compared to Total France or Andrew Roses forum when they were at there peak.

TNFF forum used to have 30 / 40 active topics a day and around 400 posts and that was nothing compared to Total France or Andrew Roses forum when they were at there peak. I obviously have no idea about property sales on FB but our friend who is an agent commerciale seems to be bucking the trend with 22 sales this year but another friend who has 7 estate agencies says 2023 has been pretty quiet. So I guess FB would follow same kind of trend?. Blimey Complete France went down the pan years ago, several of us left after two of the Admins told a few porkies, especially one , no names but male TNFF ? should know it but....Total France became cliquey and made up some bizarre rules, so Andrew Rose formed another short lived site, leaving Total France adrift and finished. Yes you are quite right, Forums come and go, the biggest of all as for Brittany is Anglo Info now a tiny forum compared to what it was before the buy out, once an excellent site for discussions, seeking advice, selling and buying, Anglo Brittany was a franchise run a by a good friend and it was snatched away from him and it is not a tenth of the site it was. So whilst generally agreeing with forums, FB is not all things to all, propery buying is in another league to me, car sales and selling are still at the front of major sales (apart from property of course) household items are enormous as are friends and families discussions and laughs. Good luck with your sales, I wouldn't quibble just yet with your 20-30 enquiries but as we know most are what tyre kickers are for car sales, maybe it's door kickers for property

Bought Starlink on special offer as fed up of Orange service - Back to Orange - ho hum…🙄🙄😆 Internet was better 3000 feet up in the Swiss Alps, and also much of the rest of France we found during a trip in the summer, wonder why? Does that mean you don't have an acceptable/good mobile coverage ? So a router using a 4/5G data sim is out of the question ? As we have good mobile coverage here we were thinking of such a solution if we couldn't happily resolve our situation. Re good Internet coverage .. low population area can often mean fewer services of all kinds perhaps. We were a low population area, albeit being overrun in July/August but Covid changed all that with so many people wanting to buy/live here just incase another such catastrophe arrived. Consequently our Internet and mobile situations have radically improved. Not really re internet coverage - good news re Starlink though, after messaging them about our prob they replied after 2 hours saying they were getting alerts from our box saying it needed to be replaced so they are sending us a whole new kit!

For all my sons I watched SCD last night.
No comment other than it is a mark of how standards have slipped. In one of the copious filler spots I saw a woman singing. I thought she had a good voice, and, she must have been wearing an ott blond wig.
My OH has lust informed me that it was Cher who is 77. I wouldn’t have thought that she needs the money that much.
Oh, and another thing, there was a gnomes convention in town last night and a firework display. I wondered where the fireworks came from. I have just worked it out with the aid of a virtual map.

"I wouldn’t have thought that she needs the money that much."
The plastic surgeons that keep her from disintigrating don't come cheap.

line of sight wreckoning.
I was wondering if they were Chinese imports and how much they cost. It was a sporadic start. The first flash got the oh very excited. Such is her grasp of physics that she opened the window for a better view. Not recommended in frosty conditions.

No people like that don't need any more money what the all want is to be seen and adored by mere mortals, its their adrenaline rush to be in control of an audience, I must admit I have never been to a live concert/Gig, I don't like crowds.

As for the windows, so much depends on how clean they are, or otherwise
