Cloudy, occasional rain and breezy. For July this is very poor indeed. Only upside is that my herbaceous borders have never looked so good.

I think someone worked out that Ark was Polarengineer, Veem...... Thank you acr. Another loose end tied up. I feel so sorry for the likes of Ark if they are reliant on hay. To see it grow past it's best and then possibly get flattened and rot with the rain must be soul destroying. |

Oh, I thought that was Vic and that Polar Engineer was amongst us as …………..Polar Engineer! 😀 or I could be even more confused than ever and mixed him up with robertarthur! 🙁
I can’t keep up with people changing names en masse - one occasionally is easier; please form an orderly queue 😄
Whoever it is, I was sorry to read about the problems with hay and horses, hope a solution will be found soon.
Here it’s bright and pleasant and I managed to do a little gentle gardening before lunch.

Yes I am undone, I am PE. most farms in my area (near Bourganeuf)have not cropped their hay yet, fields are all flattened and wet. One guy has even given up and mulched in with a flail mower. I can buy hay in for winter, but I need the field cleaned and growing grass again so that I can move the horses on to it for winter (where the field shelter is). More rain today so far and it doesn't look like it will clear up. |

I have just been informed that it is going to start raining here in not so sunny dept. 31 at 10.00 am and that it will continue for most of the day.
edit. Unfortunately for the dog, it has just started to rain.

Our forecast is for rain all day, it's not raining at the moment but cold and overcast.
