Felt really rought the last few days, cold shvering, need to have at least 2 layers on in the house, horizontal is better than vertical usually on the sofa with a quilt, at night in bed the most sweaty of sweats literally dripping off me, the bed is soaken in the morning, and unusually, my gums and teeth are sore, it feels like flu, but not quite.........any ideas? Blood Oxygen levels OK (99%) and Blood Pressure is ok....I dont want to bother medical services unless i have too...Taken two Lateral Flow tests and both negative immediately

You poor thing. That does sound bad. If it doesn’t go away in a couple of days I'd seek medical advice. None of us on here (other than jsks) are doctors to my knowledge, so with the best will in the world we are of no use to you. Take care and let us know how you go.

Can only echo mangetout's comments .. we're not medics so our advice would only be that. Perhaps seek medical advice by phone initially if symptoms persist.

In these dangerous times it doesn't make any sense to seek a diagnosis on a non-medical french forum when the NHS are at your service here www.nhs.uk/conditions/

Sorry to read that you’re feeling so unwell, Johnny. Yes, do ring 111 - they get bad press and have to stick to a script but can be very helpful and reassuring.

If you do call, make a list of your symptoms and when they started - in order
Get well soon..

How long since you had your jab?
I had exactly those symptoms 6 weeks after my first jab, it lasted 12 hours an then disappeared. The wife had the same but the 12 hours after the jab, and it lasted 36 hours.

Quick update, got through to 111, said they think they should come and look at me with that high temp for 3 days +, they said any time after 2300 last night, so I lay on the sofa waiting, they arrived at 0545, in that time I noticed my lymph gland on the right side of my mouth was much bigger, and after reading a message from Ibis, it dawned on me, it’s tooth related I think, doctor just confirmed, abscess starting in my top right back tooth, I also thought it might be tooth related as the right side of my mouth is now full of ulcers…….500mg Amoxicillin 3 times a day……….I was so relieved to get the first one down me with a cup of coffee just now…..
I’m off to bed now, I am very tired but happy 😃
thanks for the heads up Ibis
