Emigrants. United Kingdom Getting the terminology correct might strengthen your weak argument. England might recover and I hope it does. The United Kingdom however, is in its death throes. Most of us will survive long enough to see the end. It will never end. You could maybe argue over whether it already has in all but name but I'm afraid there's more life left in my driving licence than there is in the union. If it was a dog, you'd put it to sleep.

You'll no need to worry. You'll have enough on your plate paying for health care.

At least I would get health care You just can’t bear to admit that the Scottish NHS is in just as much of a mess as the English can you?

Read what the Nuffield Trust and your very own ONS say. We whip your arses raw on every measure and you can't stand the reality of that. Free at point of use cradle to grave healthcare for all. Suck it up.
Remember the time everybody pointed at this and mocked? www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-58281665Neither do I. Remember everybody pointing at England's covid death rate and seeing it was about 40% higher than Wales and Scotland's and mocking? I don't remember that one either. Do you remember health trust being put in special measures outwith national crises and folk pointing and laughing? Again, I don’t. If Scotland tipped into the sea tomorrow, you'd still be living in an underfunded, overcrowded shithole. So sit doon and stop making a fool of yourself.

Brit expats are a funny bunch.. Sitting in their country houses in another country slagging off the country they left… what a warped view you have. I’m an immigrant. I moved because I couldn’t afford to live in the U.K. with what I was left with after caring for my mum with Alzheimer’s. Here I can live in reasonable comfort in a reasonable area, but it’s getting difficult. I have a youngish friend in the U.K. with a probably terminal illness who is crying because he can’t see a doctor! He’s not ill ENOUGH yet.

There must be two Ally's. We're shite and we know we are. That's why we have a good time abroad. Or in my case, did. Nae time for it noo. I'm content to sit back and steep my feet in English tears.
