I'm in the East Midlands and there are definite shortages on supermarket shelves although the basics are freely available.
It's not something that we expect to improve, indeed, contrary to the D:ream song, things can only get worse.

I thought Selby was in the north-east, where "[t]he grocery shortages appear to have been felt most strongly". Selby in the North East? I don't think so. 314km to London 269kmto Berwick upon Tweed I reckon that puts it in the North Midlands.

Wherever it is, it is in brexit land, so deserves what it voted for.
Supermarkets in London not too bad, but nowhere as good as my leclerc in Carcassonne. London was a remain area, but boy the evidence of what the braindeads did is everywhere, exasperated by the fall of street hygiene, and even the supermarkets that are reasonably stocked have a grubby feel to them.
But hey, I see BMWs, Mercedes and shiny SUV sales appear buoyant!

It appears geography wasn't a popular topic when you guys were in school. I suspect that Woolbananna has not been north of the Watford Gap, and if he had he then had got lost and became too cold.
