Something Satay-ish, pork, prawn or chicken, with the peanut butter that I made this morning.

This really appeals, but where do you buy the orzo pasta please? Excellent question Veem and I wish I knew. I saw trofie recommended on the beeb good food once and I am currently using a pasta called mafalde court which are little squares. Both work well. There is a small rice grain type pasta, risoni or risetti but I think they are too small and I don't like the texture. Good Luck It has always amazed me how many different shapes and sizes of pasta there are and it makes me wonder if they actually taste any different from each other. I stand no hope of the local Intermarche stocking orzo, so I'll settle for the closest they have.

Oysters Kirkpatrick to start. Double cut pork chop, pigs kidney, both with a Jäger sauce, crushed pots and cauli.

In a bit of a rush, so baked salmon portions salmon with ginger, small potatoes and peas.i wished we had some mint to cook with the potatoes, but the only herbs doing well at the moment are chives - they are really thriving.

Fresh asparagus part cooked then wrapped in jambon cru, fried in butter, soft boiled dogs and brown bread and butter. Yum. Not very healthy with all that butter, but I'll worry about that tomorrow.

Funnily enough I have recently been bemoaning the lack of choice of pasta, you rarely see those bow shaped ones now, it’s nearly all fussili near me, I too am a massive fan of orzo, favourite is with ham, peas and loads of Parmesan.

Farfalle....... . Penne used to clog up all the stores shelves. For my next Easter Youvetsi with Lamb Shank, I will be trying the widely available Alpina brand. Crozets would probably work well but today I found a rice grain shape that looked like orzo - Les Avoines. I will report back next week....
