A new Pizza restaurant has just opened in our village , I thought " great , lets try this new venue" Drove upto the village , 5 mins , arrived at the new resto , walked in and said bonsoir , I would like to order a pizza to take away , she said it won't be ready until 21:40 , ( it was 20:00)! I feel that they won't be in business long ?

I love it when the snack wagons etc call their establishments Fast Food, at least they have a sense of humour.
Pizza has the great advantage that once the prep is done the meal can be produced in a few minutes, there is a Pizza restaurant near where I have moved that does a roaring trade and is by far the most popular choice in this busy Tourist Town with lots of restaurants, not only are they always full but they will have at least 3 customers per cover every evening to the other restaurants 1 and with many empty tables.
I have walked in at 20.00 to find it full and a queue in front of me, no problem sir, sit down a table will be ready soon, would you like a drink?...............
Sure enough I was seated in 5 minutes and my pizza in front of me in another 5 minutes, I was in and out within a leasurely 45 minutes during which time take-away orders came in and were fullfilled and other people turned up for takeways without having ordered, they had a drink at the bar and left in 10 minutes with their pizzas.
It's the old if you want a job done quickly ask a busy man!

We rarely eat pizza or any fastfood , it was me being nosey to see how and what they were doing, seeing as we got a card in our mail box. They won't be loosing a customer , perhaps I will try again in 6 months !

I remember eating a proper pizza in Cagliari in 1970. Never had anything to compare with it since.

The wait would be 30 mins as they were processing phone orders. We went elsewhere.

My best ever pizza was in Koblenz in Germany. Probably my first proper pizza. I remember the night well as it was also the first time I'd been approached by a lady of the night. My god she was relentless. Eventually I succumbed, I gave her a slice and told her to piss off so I could finish my meal in peace.

And just to put things into perspective, I have around 900 selfies of me either eating pizza or posing outside pizzerias. I only have three with prostitutes.
