On the doctolib site, 7 months after the second dose.
That's organised.

Is it a requirement? First I've heard of it. It took me several months to get the first two done. Not looking forward to the hassle.

We have decided to wait a while. RDV's were available for the 3rd jab from end of this month onwards but we wonder if it would be best to have the "top up" in October or November.

They - dunno exactly who though - were talking of by the time boosters were needed, it could be in spray or pill format. Has this all gone away now?

We have booked our 3rd jabs very easily on Doctolib. My second was in February and OH was in May. Seems a bit soon but seeing they are available we decided to go ahead.

Seems it is going to be a yearly shot until they get it right so no full approval should be permitted. Let it stay an emergency measure.

I talked to my specialist and my GP about this. Both said that booster injections were currently for people in EHPADs and the severely immune compromised. I am just immune compromised.... However my doctor gave me a prescription so I am having a covid serology test next week to see if I reacted to the first two doses as I might not have. All it can tell me is whether I have antibodies or not as at the moment no one knows precisely what level you need to be protected. However if I do have antibodies then I will wait. If I don’t then they will give me a prescription for the 3rd dose.
Very shortly some of the big studies will report which should give a much better idea of antibody responses to the vaccines, and who might need boosters. So it seems odd for people with no particular reason to think they haven’t responded to want a booster now..... Whilst I have faith in the vaccines I certainly don’t want to have another one if I don’t need it.

Can you expand Ibis - I haven't a clue. As of today all the vaccines that are in use in North America and Europe have not been approved thru a normal, almost 10 year process by any of the health organizations - FDA or the European equivalent but only as an emergency measure.
If booster shots are needed for all than it should never receive full approval like for polio, mumps, etc. The FDA seems to be saying that Pfizer will be approved in January.

Somp clarity here would help. Has anyone yet had their 3rd dose and if so had they (or not) underlying conditions? When we booked online we were not asked that question so we have assumed that it is open to all.

An article in The Connexion says that the 3rd jab will be available to care home residents, the over 75s and the vulnerable.
