I have sort of grasped the uncertain nature of vaccine protection, but stick to my logic that some protection is better than none.
But my final decider is that I would like more vaccines sent to countries with no or limited stocks, so don’t want to absorb more vaccine here. My protection relies not just on my neighbours, but a global effort to control this and suppress more variants.

They always give me my flu shot in the shoulder. I wonder why they can't do the vaccinations in the shoulder too? I put arm, but, yes, it is shoulder; can’t have blood taken from arm, so just put that - a bit lazy! 🤭 My right arm is out of action for blood tests, blood pressure and injections for the same reason as you Gigi

My protection relies not just on my neighbours, but a global effort to control this and suppress more variants. That is a dilemma that I fully understand. However, having some protection does not seem to cut it well with Delta variant. Somewhere we have to start with maximum protection if that is then to spread across the world.
