anyone who thinks Johnson is anything other than a complete arse is clearly missing something up top. Same applies to Trump but it seems there are a lot of them about. Very worrying.

I was reading a comment today from an ex Brexit party MP suggesting Boris, Farage and some of the other disgruntled tories join yup to form a new party. Can you imagine the clash of egos!. It won't happen because Boris won't want to risk coming second to a man dressed in a penguin suit. The Conservatives should bring back Rory Stewart if they want nay chance at all of suriving,

Rory Stewart could have made a really good start on saving the Conservatives, but I think he wanted to keep his hands clean.

What the tories need is a leader with skill, integrity, honesty and respect. Something they've never tried.

And more than a passing knowledge of the needs of the population he would govern.

Not that long ago he could do no wrong. In the last couple of day's even most of his cult follows have abandoned him but he still earns millions from opening his mouth so it's not the end of the world for him.

I'm watching the BBC news report on the Standards Committee report and have been really impressed with the interviewer, Nancy Kircungira (I hope I've spelt that right). She's calm, not easily put off her stroke, and seems to be respected by those she interviews. Well done her.

I see the mentally-challenged, lying, narcissistic, big-blond-manchild is really throwing his toys and stamping his little feet.
Could Johnson be any more despicable? And yet there are still some so detached from any sort of reality or moral integrity that they still act as apologists for the most venally corrupt PM the UK has ever suffered.

Careful now. Any more anti-conservative talk and you'll be banned. See the above "locked" thread to see how the wind blows here.

Found to b a liar multiple times, and finally (?) a liar to the whole country and to Parliament while serving as Prime Minister.
A report on him by a master when he was at Eton College as a young man gives us a flavour of the adult he would grow up to be. Most parents would be horrified to receive such a character reference of their child and strive to change his character, even a little.
“Boris really has adopted a disgracefully cavalier attitude to his classical studies. It is a question of priorities, which most of his colleagues have no difficulty in sorting out. Boris sometimes seems affronted when criticised for what amounts to a gross failure of responsibility (and surprised at the same time that he was not appointed Captain of the School for next half). I think he honestly believes that it is churlish of us not to regard him as an exception, one who should be free of the network of obligation which binds everyone else. “
MARTIN HAMMOND, MASTER IN COLLEGE, ETON
LETTER TO STANLEY JOHNSON, 10 APR 1982
A BBC report on the verdict of the report on EX-Prime Minister Johnson said:
“ Let's be blunt: it says he lied.”
