Good to hear Mr O’Brien on top form as usual.
I was listening to the mainly Boris - loving TalkRadio last evening. Piers Morgan was speaking with the Reform Party leader who are thé party’s biggest publicity machine. Morgan suggested that Boris might join the party (with Farage ?) to fight the cause. Tice didn’t give a reply which spoke volumes….. It’s refreshing to hear the pro Brexit station now slagging off Boris, Morgan was as scathing as O’Brien….strange bedfellows. Beware, Boris will be back. The UK deserves better than this ffs.

At a guess.............why does UK deserve better when by all accounts millions still adore him regardless of the cretin he is, and always has been.

That probably shows the dearth of political talent currently available in the UK ? France isn’t much better.

Whether it's UK, USA, France. Maybe something to do with celebrity culture, just guessing. I'm at a genuine loss to understand how people like Boris and Trump have such ardent followers willing to defend them come what may.

Not sure about "not much better" but there is certainly a dearth of political talent in the UK, whereas although Macron has struggled to bring all his promises together, French politicians are not making a Frexit move to save declaring their global wealth, which due to the persons liable for Brexit in the UK couldn't wait to leave the EU before they got caught up in the new rules to avoid paying Impots on all their global wealth.

But don't discount Marine. Popularity (popularism) on the rise following the (much needed IMHO) change in pension laws. Is she a political talent or just another Nigel Farage? I tend to the latter.

Having been here for over thirty years and I can say that in many elections, François Mitterrand, Jacques Chirac, Nicolas Sarkozy, François Hollande, Emmanuel Macron but starting with Chirac in the mid eighties it was said the French should not discount Jean Marie le Pen and every election since the same words are spoken. Marine le Pen has been in the final round three times with high hopes only to get slaughtered when the French come to their senses but you never know....
