Wrote to my regular chauffeur to say I might see him next week:
Hi
, I was going to write to you earlier, but. ……….
I am sure that you know how it is.
I am due to go to Pau next week and think that it would be good if you can take me there.
This morning I am going to see my local doctor and hope he can prescribe the right stuff to me and give me some good news.
Best wishes to all.
Anyway.
I wrote the following note to my local Doc to use as an aid memoir
23/6/22Consultation Dr T
Basically to be able to monitor progress and keep informed
My progress a month ago was not as certain as I would have wished
Without the data, or exact knowledge of the disease or others that I may be prone to, it is difficult to try to form any projections.
For the past week I have become more certain that I am getting fitter
I can now eat almost normally, although slowly, but, my weight seems to be very similar.
I understand the reasons of the desire for me to gain weight, but, it the light of my weak hip and knee problems of the past, do wonder about the extra stresses caused by carrying too many kilograms around and that, in my case, it might not be as necessary as it could be. My BMI is on the low side but is still within the acceptable range.
What is greater the need to exercise, gain body weight or the need to conserve a balance ?
The recent heat may be no bad thing, it has diminished the chance of exercise and forced me to rest.
……
The doctor examined me and said that I had a fungal infection on my tongue and prescribed a course of Fungizone 10% in suspension x 3 / day
11.30 Intermarche Air sur l Adour
When I got home I looked at the principle / action of the Medicine via the internet and was slightly alarmed to see that it contained something that sounded very similar to the stuff that I sterilised my wine bottles with when I used to make my own wine all those years ago. and my sense of Reason became stronger.

Pregnancy and breast feeding
……
Seemed to me that the latter was not likely to be a problem for me.
I have not done any breast feeding for years……
Another thing that stirred the memory was
‘ The active substance is:
Amphotericin B
quantity corresponding to Amphotericin B titrating 1000 µg/mg ............................................ 10,000g
For 100 ml of oral suspension.
The other components are:
Sodium saccharin, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, potassium chloride, 95% ethyl alcohol, glycerol, carmellose sodium, citric acid anhydrous, sodium metabisulphite (E 223), erythrosine (E 127), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218 ), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), sodium benzoate (E 211), curaçao flavor, passionflower flavor, cinnamon flavor, purified water. See section.
I wondered if passionflower flavor had something to do to do with the bacteria th@ I was trying to nail that was the root cause (?) of candidiasis. Not quite as simple as that. There are a bewildering number of possibilities. It struck me that I was suffering with similar symptoms when I last say the surgeon and hospltal dentist. Neither of them picked up on what seems to have been an obvious sign. Seems to me our vision can be blocked by the fences of out own of our own world view.
